News: Flexible booking - how does it work?
Our free cancellation, book now, pay later and low deposit options allow you to dream about your next holiday destination, with no-risk cancellation.
At times like the present, when you want to be ready for all eventualities, these rates allow you to secure your chosen accommodation for your holiday at the best possible price, whilst knowing that you can make changes later if necessary.
Sometimes, however, it can be a little confusing to have so many different options, so this is a chance for us to explain how it all works.
Step 1 - Search for accommodation
When you search for accommodation on HalalBooking.com you simply enter the details such as who will be travelling with you, when you are travelling and where you want to go, and/ or the type of accommodation you are looking for. Then hit the ‘SEARCH’ button.
Step 2 - Check your search results
Don’t forget that you can use the halal filters and other filters to further narrow your search. Your search results will show you a total price for your chosen dates, together with the different payment options available for each hotel or villa. The most flexible options such as ‘Free cancellation’ or ‘Book now pay later’ are shown in green underneath the accommodation name.
Step 3 - Have a look at the different rate options
Just hover over the options or click through to the individual accommodation page to see full details. It will tell you how much you have to pay now, and how much you have to pay later. It will tell you the date you have to cancel - or pay - by.
For many of our properties you will see a choice of different rates, depending on the degree of flexibility you want.
What do the different rates mean?
1) Free cancellation:
Many of our properties have agreed with us that they will offer our guests extremely flexible cancellation policies. In many cases this allows you to cancel your booking completely free of charge until a few days before the actual check-in. This will give you peace of mind in times of uncertainty. No-risk cancellation.
2) Book now, pay later:
a) With zero deposit:
You don't need to pay anything right now. Simply make your booking to secure the price shown and your preferred room type. Full payment is only required a few days or weeks before you check in. You will receive payment reminders letting you know the last payment date. Your booking will be cancelled automatically if you don't pay by then.
b) With low deposit:
If a zero deposit option is not available, most properties still offer the possibility of booking with a very low deposit of only 10-30% of the total price. Some properties have refundable deposits and some are non-refundable. The full details are clearly displayed during the booking process. This allows you to make your booking to secure the price shown and your preferred room type. Full payment is only required a few days or weeks before you check in. You will receive payment reminders letting you know the last payment date. Your booking will be cancelled automatically if you don't pay by then. If you have booked with a refundable deposit, it will be returned to you at this point.
