Top Turkish hotels with women-only beaches

How can I be sure of privacy on a ladies-only beach?

In Türkiye’s halal-friendly resort hotels, usually the ladies-only beach forms part of the women-only area, which also offers swimming pools and often includes spa facilities, a restaurant or café, children’s play area and a prayer room, all for the sole and exclusive use of women. They are usually “fully-secluded” which means that no one can see in from the outside. Some are shielded from an outside gaze by huge sails, or tarpaulins or other structures to ensure that once inside you are not seen by an outside eye, from anywhere in the hotel. All of the staff working in these women-only areas will be female and you will usually be asked to hand in your mobile phone at the entrance, to ensure there are no pictures taken. It’s a small price to pay for peace of mind and many women find they enjoy the mobile-free time and find it more relaxing.

How can Halalbooking help me find a ladies-only beach?

Use our unique filters to help you find the best hotel to fit your requirements. If you only want to consider Turkish resort hotels with a women-only beach then put ‘Türkiye’ or your chosen resort name in the search bar, add your dates of travel and the details of your family group and hit search. Open the Leisure for Ladies and Family filter and tick the ‘Ladies-only • secluded’ option under the Beach heading to see only hotels which offer this amenity. Some ladies-only beaches only offer sunbathing, others also have a fully-secluded area of the sea dedicated for women-only beach swimming.

Do I need to wear modest swimwear on the ladies-only beach?

In ladies-only areas, you are completely free to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Many women like to take the opportunity to remove their hijab and wear swimming costumes or even bikinis in this secure, all-female environment, enjoying the feeling of sun and seawater on their skin. Others prefer to stick with a burkini and choose more modest swimwear. Whatever you choose to wear, you’ll have the peace of mind to know that you are in a relaxed, safe environment, with no men allowed, where no one can see in from the outside. Most of these hotels have a compulsory modest swimwear policy in mixed pools and on mixed beaches. Check the halal information on the hotel’s page on Halalbooking to find more details.

Are children allowed on the women-only beach?

Naturally, girls of all ages are welcome, but there’s usually a strictly applied age limit for boys, which is most commonly 6 years of age, after which they are not allowed on the ladies-only beach, but can use the family and men-only facilities. This is for everyone’s comfort.
