HalalBooking was delighted to be awarded Travolution’s Rising Brand of the Year award yesterday at the Travolution Awards 2020. Travolution is the UK’s leading digital publication dedicated to the online travel industry. The Rising Brand of the Year award is one of the special awards given out annually, the winner being decided by Travolution and its independent judges on the basis of the performance in the 12-month period of the awards.
Travolution explained the reasons behind the award stating: “HalalBooking has come on our radar due to the growth it had seen up to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic this year and also the resilience it has demonstrated in an extremely difficult period. At Travolution we felt the award was a fitting way to mark how HalalBooking has identified a fast-growing and extremely promising market segment that is set to boom in years to come.”

It means a lot to have our achievements recognised in this way, by such an important voice for the digital travel sector.”

We are very proud of the fact that we managed to return to growth in August 2020, with figures up 10% on the previous year. September was an even better month - up 25% on 2019 - and October sales were on a par with 2019. This puts us in a strong position to return to 1.5-2 times year on year growth in 2021.”
